Management Trainee MBO

Then join our team and follow the management traineeship at MBO level with us.

As a trainee you are in the training program "Talent VAG" of approximately 2-3 years. 

Training program (depending on experience):

  • 1st year gaining experience in the various departments such as the farrowing pen or piglet pen supplemented with a project, for example helping or supporting with a new protocol, data analyses or helping with pilots.
  • 2nd year assisting the team leader. Learning to manage a team/department. Learning to deal with climate settings, feeding systems and technical figures.
  • 3rd year you will start working as a team leader. You will manage a team or department yourself.

During your traineeship you will visit different companies.

You will participate in various training and development programs for your personal competencies and professional knowledge.

Intervisions with other management trainees.

What are your tasks?

  • Acquiring knowledge in the field of farrowing pen management and/or breeding pen management, feeding installation, climate and working in various departments.
  • Learning to manage and organize (evaluate and correct).
  • Getting a feel for animal health.
  • Complying with and checking protocols.
  • Learning to read business technical figures.
