Management Trainee HBO

As a trainee you are in the "Young VAG" training program:

• 3-year training program:

  • 1st year working in the various departments, getting to know management and taking on projects such as protocols, data management, technology and feed.
  • 2nd year growing into the role of team leader or assistant production manager.
  • 3rd year growing/developing as a production manager.

• During your traineeship you will visit various companies.
• You will participate in various training and development programs for your personal competencies and professional knowledge.
• Intervisions with other management trainees.

What are your tasks?

  • Acquiring knowledge in the field of farrowing pen management and/or breeding pen management, feed installation, climate and working in various departments.
  • Learning to manage and organize (evaluate and correct).
  • Learning to interpret business technical figures.
  • Setting up projects to optimize feed, technology and data management.
